Best turf grounds for 5-a-side football in Delhi NCR?
Looking for good quality synthetic turf grounds in Delhi NCR (Gurgaon, Noida, South Delhi) for regular 5-a-side football. My group plays every Tuesday and Thursday evening. We need floodlights, decent turf quality (no bald patches!), and ideally a booking app so we don't have to call every time. Budget is ₹3000-5000 per hour. Any recommendations? Also would love to know which turfs have the best changing rooms and parking because half our group comes straight from office.
How to play as a defender in 7-a-side football when you keep getting nutmegged?
I play centre-back in 7-a-side football in Pune and I keep getting embarrassed. Quick attackers nutmeg me regularly and I end up looking clueless. My positioning is okay when the ball is far but one-on-one situations are a nightmare. I'm 27, decent fitness, played recreational football since college but never learned proper defensive technique. How do I improve my 1v1 defending? It's a smaller pitch so there's less time to react.

I want to start a semi-professional 7-a-side football league in Kochi. We have about 12-15 teams interested and I want to run it properly – with a league format, referees, and hopefully sponsors. Has anyone done this before in India? I need advice on: (1) How to structure the league format (round-robin vs groups), (2) How to get referees cheaply, (3) Insurance or liability concerns, (4) How to attract sponsors. Any advice would be super helpful!
